The most important and best way to reach teens is by showing them you care. When you show you care, they are more open to listening to what have to teach them about Jesus.

As a teen I was stubborn... okay I'm still stubborn, but I have Jesus now to help me. I was lost. I was raised 'Catholic' but it was the pick and choose kind of faith. If we were busy, we missed mass. We never prayed together as a family and my parents left the teaching up to CCD class. Which honestly was okay, but I have a hard time learning if someone is just talking at me. So sadly to say I didn't learn much or understand God at all. I believed He was an old man on a cloud in the sky that would throw down lightening bolts when I was bad. I didn't know Him. UNTIL I met Him through adults in my youth group in high school. I had to attend youth group to get confirmed. I was curious, why did these adults act like they loved me and cared about me? Why did they take the time to know my name, smiled at me, or share their faith story? Slowly I started to get it. They cared because they LOVED JESUS and wanted me to know Him. They desired a better life for me. I met Jesus first though these adults and then through many other ways. I was changed and knew my purpose in life; to love and serve the Lord.

consider helping with the youth group.
In the fall this year we will be starting up youth group full force and I need help.
I need help with monthly large group meetings and service projects.
I also need help with small groups. With small groups you meet weekly with around 5-8 teens and a co-leader. All you have to do is focus on those teens in your group, instead of a larger group.
