God and the child have a remarkable relationship with one another even when the child is very young. Children need the assistance of the adults in their lives to foster growth in this relationship with our Lord, but it is directed by the Holy Spirit Who already dwells within the child through their baptism. The Good Shepherd Center here at the cathedral has been formed to present the deepest Truths of our faith and foster an environment of prayer to help the youngest members of our community grow in their relationship with God. Enrollment is now open for children ages 3 - 5 years old.

To make this opprotunity available to as many children as possible in our region, Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is being offered on:
Weekday | Time | Start Date |
Tuesdays | 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM | Starting September 20th |
Wednesdays | 1:15 PM - 3:15 PM | Starting September 21th |
The cost of enrollment for a child in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd includes the cost of creating the hands-on materials, paying for catechists’ formation courses, covering utility costs, purchasing consumable materials, and more. This comes to about $150 per child. Here at the Good Shepherd Center, we believe that finances should not be a barrier to religious formation. We ask that you pay what you can afford, and for those who are able, we invite you to give generously to support other children’s religious formation. Thank you!
