Thank you for reading a little bit about me.
I grew up with a loving family in Northwest Indiana.
I was involved in youth group in high school and even taught middle school religious education my senior year of high school.
I attended Franciscan University of Steubenville Ohio where my faith was fostered. I was blessed to be in a devoted catholic environment, where I met people from all around the world, yet all had the Eucharist in common.
I was involved in different ministries in college including, music ministry, homeless ministry, S.E.N.T. (putting on retreats for youth), pro-life ministry and formed a household (like a sorority). I also was extremely blessed to go on two mission trips. One was to General Cepeda, Mexico and another to La Vega, Dominican Republic. The Dominican Republic mission trip was a medical mission trip where we opened a clinic and treated everything from colds, to sending people to the hospital with septicemia. We also had the opportunity to teach in an elementary school and play with orphans in an orphanage.
I graduated from Franciscan University with a Bachelor’s in Nursing, and minors in Theology and Biology. All those experiences have molded me, challenged me and helped make me who I am today.
I feel so blessed to serve St. Mary’s Cathedral! I feel especially blessed that the youth and young adults of the parish have allowed me to serve them. I strongly believe that everyone should have an opportunity to encounter Christ. My mission in serving the youth is to help them have a deep encounter with Christ, so much so that they are on fire for the Lord and become a true disciple!
